Hi everyone and Happy New Year! I can’t believe that it’s January 2025! Wishing that this year brings you immense happiness, good health, blessings, peace, fulfillment, fun, and much Bliss!
It’s hard not to get coach-like at this time of year if you’re me, so please indulge me as I invite you all to sit back, relax, and just think about one intention you have that you’d like to create this year.
A great place to start is with the Wheel of Life.
So just glance at the wheel and see which wedges need your attention right now. Is it your relationship, or your health and fitness? Is it your diet and exercise that need some attention? Is it your career, or is it one of the dreams you’ve been putting on the back burner for so long and now you want to dust it off, polish it, shine it up, and bring it back to life? Or most of all, is it your relationship with yourself? Maybe now is the perfect time to find a therapist or life coach or embark on a journey toward more mindfulness, with a daily yoga or meditation practice, or some regular breathwork to ground you and prepare you for the year ahead.
Start with one wedge, and if you’d like a jumpstart on your bliss journey to becoming your best self this year, just DM me @theblissminute on Instagram or write to me at fyb@findingyourbliss.com to set up a 15-minute complimentary coaching call.
We would love to hear if there are any guests that you’d like us to feature on the show Finding Your Bliss, and maybe you are the perfect guest yourself. If you are someone who has found and is following their bliss or has a hobby, side hustle, or something you love to do, we would love for you to share your story with us. We also love to feature singers on the show. If you’re a singer/songwriter or musician, just write to us at fyb@findingyourbliss.com.
Also, we’re always looking for writers and submissions for our magazine. If you’d like to write for us, just reach out to Lauren@findingyourbliss.com and let us know what is bringing you bliss these days.
Don’t miss the podcast this week of our wonderful Encore Presentation with wunderkind composer, theatre creator, and filmmaker Andrew Seok, whose show Rosamund has been nominated for 10 Broadway World Awards!
So, first of all, congratulations to Andrew Seok and the cast and crew of Rosamund! It is beyond exciting! And to honour this great achievement, and also because this was one of the highest-rated shows of the last year, we are playing the entire episode again tomorrow with full music, and the music is absolutely glorious! You don’t want to miss it!
Here are a couple of great bliss tips that I found online, thanks to @motivize_mindset.
And another great list also from @motivize_mindset, called 10 Habits That Will Improve Your Life:
And finally, a bliss tip from yours truly: This is one that I know I need to follow as well, which is to do your very best to limit social media use to 30 minutes a day! (I’m going to try, lol!)
And with regard to your dreams, goals, and aspirations, take one small step toward your goals every day. Or, as Jack Canfield of Chicken Soup for the Soul fame says,
My advice is: The rule of five simply states that you must do five things every day that lead you toward your goal." Or, as he puts it, "If you commit to doing five random acts of kindness each week, that's 260 lives you've touched for good in a year. If you write five pages of text today, you will compose 1,825 pages in a year, which is six 300-page books. If you set out to do five things every day toward any goal you have, you will see great things happen in your life! Small steps lead to big accomplishments.
Jack Canfield
So, how can you apply the rule of five to your life?
I can’t wait to hear from you and to watch you take one step closer to finding your bliss in 2025!
Wishing you all a happy, healthy, safe, peaceful, and blissful week, and welcome to 2025! Let this be the year that we create peace on Earth and help each other become the best version of ourselves. Let’s do this!!!!
We’d love to hear from you! Please send us your suggestions for future articles. And if you’re a writer, please see our writer’s submissions page for details.
